Cadence Hoover, Gannon Model U.N. Secretary General, said, “Students come onto Gannon’s campus this weekend to debate different topics and different communities, such as mitigating the effects of atomic radiation or preserving endangered languages. What they did is they debated, they found solutions, past resolutions and we just held our award ceremony where we got to recognize our excellent, outstanding and best delegates.”

Hoover, who is now a senior political science major at Gannon, said that she was also in a Model U.N. group in high school and hopes this event will inspire students to continue studying in their futures as well.
