Ben Affleck recently had words with two LAPD officers amid the LA wildfires.

TMZ released a video of the 52-year-old actor speaking with police in what appears to be a tense conversation outside the front gate of his Brentwood home which is in close proximity to the Palisades fire. In the footage, which was released on Tuesday, January 14, Affleck is seen pulling out of his driveway in his BMW before stopping to roll down his window and converse with two officers seated in a police vehicle parked outside the $20 million house.

While his entire conversation with the cops could not be understood from the video, according to TMZ, the Armageddon actor was seemingly voicing his frustration about the private security in his neighborhood that was making it difficult for him to get to and from his property.

The three-time Golden Globe Award winner and the LAPD appear to exchange some heated words for a couple of minutes, and Affleck can be seen making hand gestures outside his car. However, things seem to cool down by the end as the Gone Girl actor thanks the officers and drives off.

Affleck’s conversation with cops comes after the FBI and local police reportedly showed up at his home on Sunday, January 12. According to Page Six, the authorities were trying to get information after a private drone damaged a firefighting aircraft in the area.

A source told the outlet, “FBI agents were at Affleck’s home to see if he had CCTV footage of a private drone which damaged a super scooper, one of the firefighting aircrafts.” A representative from the FBI also explained to the publication at the time, “Members of the FBI’s Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades Fire relative to unauthorized drone activity.” It is unclear if the Oscar winner ever spoke with the federal agents.

On Tuesday, January 7, Affleck reportedly evacuated to ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home, where she resides with their three kids, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12. After learning that the Palisades fire did not burn his home, the Good Will Hunting actor returned to the mansion the next day.
