IDF troops battle Hamas terrorists in Gaza City incursion

The IDF’s 162nd Division killed several Hamas terrorists after identifying them 200 meters away, moving in the direction of military positions in Gaza City, the IDF said Friday.

The troops located numerous weapons, including rifles, grenades, and other arms. In addition, an explosive device hidden among the rubble by Hamas terrorists, intended to harm IDF troops, was found, the military said.

Israeli air force kills Hamas military intelligence deputy head from Bureij Battalion
The same day, the military said that the Air Force killed Hamas’s military intelligence deputy head from its Bureij Battalion in the northern Gaza Strip.
Ten terrorists in Gaza have been killed since Thursday, according to the IDF.
The IDF confirmed its invasion of Gaza City on Tuesday.
In a post, the IDF said that all Gaza City residents must evacuate immediately as it had officially become a dangerous combat zone.
Last month, the IDF thwarted an attempt by over 15 terrorists to raid an IDF post in the southern city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip.
Three soldiers were wounded in the incident, with one from the military’s 90th Battalion in the Kfir Brigade in serious condition. The entire incident reportedly lasted for a few minutes.
