Three injured in Jordan after object hits house amid Iran-Israel war

Three people were injured on Saturday in Jordan after an unknown object fell on a house in the northern city of Irbid, the country’s security authorities reported amid military escalation between Israel and Iran.

The injured were taken to hospital and are reported to be in good condition, Jordan’s Public Security Directorate added without providing further details.

The Jordanian channel Al Mamlaka TV meanwhile reported that an explosive object had penetrated the wall of a house in Irbid and that security forces were sealing off the site.

On Friday, the Jordanian military said it had intercepted missiles and drones after they had entered the country’s airspace. The army did not say who had fired them.
