Trevor Dutch: Ink, Art, and Ambition—The Face of Modern Masculinity

Interview by L’official

From the bustling streets of New York City to the glitzy runways of fashion week, Trevor Dutch is redefining what it means to be a male model. With tattoos that are as much a statement as his walk on the catwalk, Dutch embodies a unique blend of high fashion and personal artistry.

L’Official sat down with this German, English, and Irish model to discuss his journey, passions, and aspirations.

Q: What’s your ethnic background?

I’m German, English, and Irish. Unfortunately, I only speak one of those three languages, but I like to think my heritage shines through in other ways.

Q: How did you start modeling?

I started through a small local agency in Connecticut. They recommended an incredible photographer in NYC, and after doing a shoot with them, I realized how much I enjoyed it. That’s when I made the decision to move to New York City and pursue modeling seriously.

Q: Your tattoos are a defining feature. What inspired them, and how do they reflect who you are?

I’ve always been captivated by Renaissance art, so I thought, why not cover myself in it? Each tattoo represents a painting I’ve loved studying. The lower half of my body, though, is more of a “fun board,” featuring a baby Hulk, a Leonardo DiCaprio portrait, and even a tied game of tic-tac-toe. My tattoos are like a visual diary—part art gallery, part sense of humor.

Q: Do you have any talents or hobbies outside of modeling?

Absolutely. In high school, I played lacrosse for a couple of years, but I later shifted my focus to weightlifting, which I’m still passionate about. I’ve also taught myself to play the electric bass and piano. Back in Connecticut, I was in a band and played a lot of shows. Moving to NYC didn’t stop my love for music—I bought a keyboard, learned to use recording software, and I’m still creating music to this day.

Q: What makes you unique as a model?

I think it’s the mix of elaborate paintings and quirky characters in my tattoos. They’re conversation starters and set me apart in an industry that’s always looking for individuality.

Q: Have you faced any obstacles in your career?

One of the biggest challenges was moving to New York City in my early 20s. I didn’t know anyone and had to navigate one of the toughest cities to start a modeling career in. It’s been ten years now, and looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Q: Can you tell us about some of the modeling jobs you’ve done?

I’ve worked with Viktor Luna, an amazing designer known for his leather pieces and for competing on Project Runway. That shoot was photographed by Sophy Holland, and I later worked with her again on shoots, including one with Laverne Cox. I’ve also done fashion shows for Lexus, been on several romance novel covers, modeled for NYC Fashion Week, and appeared in Mate Magazine. Additionally, I’ve been a fit model for Bluff Works denim.

Q: Who’s your celebrity crush?

Jennifer Aniston, without a doubt. I think everyone can agree she needs no explanation.

Q: Which actors or models do you admire?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are my favorites, and not just because I have tattoos of them! They’re incredible actors who bring humor and depth to their roles. I’ve also always been a fan of Tom Cruise. These are actors who never seem to star in dull movies.

Q: What do you love most about your job, and what are your future goals?

I love the fluidity of modeling—one day it’s a fashion show, the next it’s a cover shoot or even a TV spot. My ultimate goal is to branch into acting and maybe even see myself on a billboard one day.

Trevor Dutch is not just a model; he’s a canvas, an artist, and a creator. Whether it’s through his tattoos, music, or presence on the runway, he’s proving that individuality is the most stylish statement of all.
