IDF strikes Hamas terrorist cell in Gaza City building before ceasefire, at least four killed

Palestinian state media outlet WAFA reported that four civilians were killed and that 40 others were reported missing.

The IDF conducted a series of strikes targeting a residential building in southwest of Gaza City, killing at least four individuals, Palestinian media reported on Thursday evening.

State-run media outlet WAFA reported 40 others were reported missing after the strike.

In a statement, the IDF confirmed its attack in northern Gaza, stating a Hamas terrorist cell was “operating in close proximity to IDF troops and posed an immediate threat to the troops operating in the area.”

Israeli media, citing defense sources, said that the strike successfully targeted at least two terrorists carrying out activities against Israeli soldiers.
