Israel Air Force strikes terror targets east of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip

The targets were reportedly located to the east of Khan Yunis.

The IAF struck terror targets in the southern Gaza Strip, east of Khan Yunis, on Tuesday morning.

Last week, theIAF struck approximately 15 terrorists who emerged from tunnels at two different locations east of the Yellow Line in eastern Rafah.

According to the IDF, the IAF struck the cell shortly after it was identified approaching Israeli troops operating near the ceasefire boundary.

Terrorists probably part of those remaining in Rafah ‘terror pocket’

The IDF assessed with a high probability that these terrorists killed were part of the Hamas terrorists that remain in the “terror pocket” trapped within the tunnel system in eastern Rafah behind the Yellow Line, according to Army Radio.

While it was originally reported that approximately 200 terrorists had been trapped in Rafah, IDF sources believe that the number has likely now dropped to dozens and that they may be finished off within a period of weeks, a month, or two at the most, if no diplomatic deal is cut to save them

This is a developing story.
