New Details for GTA Online: Agents of Sabotage Revealed

Rockstar Games may be preparing to release GTA 6 next year, but it hasn’t slowed down on adding frequent updates to GTA Online. The online multiplayer game has been a cornerstone of Rockstar’s success, and it might be getting its final winter update this month with Agents of Sabotage.

Rockstar has exclusively revealed new details for the upcoming Agents of Sabotage update to GLHF, and there’s plenty to be excited about.

Every year, Rockstar’s winter update for GTA Online adds significant new content with Los Santos, bringing the festive spirit to its crime-riddled streets. Agents of Sabotage is no different, adding meaningful upgrades with a new hideout in the Darnell Bros Garment Factory. Yes, the classic hideout that Lester hatched plans for various heists in GTA 5’s story is yours to claim.

In it, you’ll find an Mk II Weapon Workshop and a basement garage, through which you can fast-travel between specific locations across Los Santos using underground pathways.

Agents of Sabotage will have players cooperate with ex-FIB operative FIB Jodi Marshall, who has a grudge against her former employers. Together, you’ll exploit FIB’s secret technology to pull some new heists. Agents of Sabotage will also feature the return of Pavel, who players last met in the infamous Cayo Perico Heist event over four years ago.

“I’d say one of my favorite memories is the launch of The Cayo Perico Heist, because it was an entirely new map expansion to the game, a whole new place to explore, to look for easter eggs, and, of course, rob from,” GTA Net’s Spider-Vice tells GLHF. “Strategizing for the heist and seeing everyone online come up with their own theories and strategies was a huge breath of fresh air in the community.”

In the new update, players can also equip a Silent Running module on their Benefactor Terrorbyte. With the new module, other players won’t be notified of your presence when driving around the town. It seems Rockstar wants players to sneak around a lot during the holidays. A new Master Control Terminal will also be available to manage your businesses during the jolly season.

The holiday season has always been a special time for GTA fans, bringing everyone together in its virtual playground. One of Rockstar’s first major GTA Online updates covered Los Santos in snow, prompting players to get a look at a new side of the city.

“Christmas 2014 was still the early days of GTA Online, the snow had just been added,” says Yan2295, who contributes content to GTA Series, a well-known fan account. “I invited a bunch of friends who didn’t necessarily all know each other to a private session where we spent hours just driving around in the snow admiring the scenery, having snowball fights, shooting off fireworks and just generally having a good time.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be GTA without explosions, which other players might hurl at you once they take notice of your illegal activities.
